Shrubs & Beds Maintenance

Truesdale offers a Shrub and Bed program which is broken down into three annual visits.

Shrub and Bed #1 - Early Spring

• Removal of deadwood from shrubs and ornamentals as needed
• Cut back perennials and fertilize them
• Clean and edge all beds
• Apply pre- emergent (weed killer) to all beds
• Mulch beds
• Removal of all debris

Shrub and bed #2 - Mid Summer

• Selectively prune and shape all flowering shrubs and ornamental trees as needed
• Edge and lightly mulch beds
• Removal of all debris

Shrub and bed #3 - Early Fall

• Selectively prune and shape ornamental trees and shrubs as needed
• Trim all perennials, roses and grasses and fertilize them
• Clean and remove all annuals
• Remove flowers from pots and planters
• Removal of all debris
